My neighbor is a Starbucks Barista, Coffee Master, Black Apron and everything! He also does the music at our Sunday Gathering. I must say, being neighbors and friends with a barista has it’s perks!! They bring me coffee! I went over this morning and borrowed some pumpkin spice syrup. (I don’t think I will be returning it!!) We share a wall connecting our houses and we have joked about cutting a hole in the wall (which is the kitchen wall) just so he can make us lattes every morning. If we owned the houses, we would probably do it!! This is their precious new baby girl, by the way!! Sweet barista baby doll!!!!

David Crowder Band
Cyndee
Sweeeet!! I just went to the David Crowder Band Concert the other night, at the Moore Theater. It was great. I had never seen them in concert and I’m glad I went. The two bands that opened for them definitely held their own as well: The Myriad, and Phil Wickham. Phil has this voice that sounds like 5 people singing. It had a fullness about it that was captivating!! Nice.

The Wiggly Side of Life
Cyndee
My nephew and I love to go to the library. I have been taking him since he was an infant, to storytime with Miss Jackie. He loves it. Some days he can sit still, other days he is a wiggle worm. I guess I can understand that, since I can’t sit still either, never have been able to. We always check out books and read them over and over, ’til the following week when we get new ones. The library has a program too, where he can earn his own books, just by reading at home! It’s super! He has earned 6 free books that way! They always have an extensive variety for the kiddos to choose from. Check out your local library if you have kiddos. They will probably have some kind of incentive reading program, or storytime… Or just a load of good books to get your little ones interested in the adventures of reading. My nephew is only two, but he loves to read. He is even starting to “read” on his own.So, the book above is one of our favorites this week. If you have a squiggly, wiggly toddler… check it out! It is a bit like Dr. Seuss, and encourages the wiggly side of life!!
Enjoy! I know we have.

She is too, too linda! Do they actually make baby starbucks gear? Or was that your neighbor’s creative work?
